About Me

I’ve sat where you are right now. Knowing that something is not right, that I need space to breathe, that I need help. It’s a daunting step, but I could not be more thankful that I decided to engage in therapy. My therapist sat alongside me while I felt nothing would get better, while I felt too low to talk. But with time, support and the right therapy I was able to liberate myself and live a fuller, happier and purposeful life.

It was my journey in therapy that has bought me to where I am today. Sitting across from clients that sit where I once sat. Being able to work alongside my clients is a privilege, seeing them become closer to the self they want to be is a joy, and building a relationship with my clients is deeply fulfilling.

It is my personal journey, robust training and professional experience that enables me to do this work. It enables me to work in a way that works for you and although I am not living through your experience, I understand what has bought you to therapy. The desire to feel better.

I am of Indian background, apart of the second generation bought up and living in the UK. I know first hand the challenges of navigating intergenerational, cultural issues and difficult family dynamics. It is because of this experience that I am deeply interested and passionate about working with clients from minority backgrounds, where sometimes getting mental health support feels like a taboo.
